Bobby Darin 3

Beyond The Sea
Bobby Darin was one of the premier song stylists of the 1950s, beginning with his teen hit "Splish, Splash". A brash and outspoken man, he worked extensively for Robert Kennedy during his 1968 presidential campaign. After Kennedy's death Darin quit working, sold his possessions and moved to a mobile home at Big Sur, California. More than a year later he reemerged in bluejeans and mustache to start his own label Direction Records. Kevin Spacey, a long-time Darin fan will play Darin in the new film biopic "Beyond the Sea" to be released in late 2004. Spacey also directs.

this guy bobby is one of my favorites. he could outsing the greatest of all singers. he was great, wonderful guy whom people really loved and admired and have never forgotten this great fellow. he really did not get to entertain as long as i wanted him to. i wish he could have been here a little longer to fill in the void. we love you bobby. you are the greates. joann
