Mack The Knife
Darin's 1959 hit song "Mack the Knife" sold two million copies won a Grammy Award as Record of the Year and Darin was voted Best New Artist. Darin continued to appear in Las Vegas and on TV through the mid-60s and made several movies, like "Come September" and "State Fair". He received an Oscar nomination for his work in the 1963 film Capt. Newman M.D. Real Darin fans will be ready for the release in 2004 of "Beyond the Sea" a film about Darin's life directed and starring Kevin Spacey.
