Dawn

Red Hot Showgirl
Dawn Brown always seems to lead a life on the edge. While vacationing in Las Vegas friends talked her into going to an audition. She was hired that night for the spectacular "Jubilee" show at the (MGM) Bally's Hotel and never went home. At the time the show had a segregated line which she broke when she became the first black "Blue Bell Girl". She went on to appear in the Stardust Hotel fabulous "Lido de Paris" and "Enter the Night" shows.

"Career Day" by: Sharron wheeler
@ 02:45:52 am on March 21 2012
I have a Girl Scout troop and we are looking for a show girl to come out and talk to the girls about this career. But having a hard time finding out how to go about locating a dancer. It would be nice if you could give me information on how to go about contacting a current or retired dancer. We would prefer an African American women due to the ethnicity of most of our girls. Which would be very encouraging to show they too could obtain this goal if so wanted. I saw Dawn's picture on your website and was hoping maybe you could help me to lacate her or someone else that would interested in coming out in the fall for our career day.
Sincerely,
Sharron Wheeler
