Wonderful World of Burlesque '72
Barry Ashton was a top producer and promoter of burlesque shows like "The Wonderful World of Burlesque" at the Silver Slipper Hotel & Casino, which ran for many years. The burlesque shows were particularly popular with other visiting Las Vegas entertainers. It was not odd to see some pretty impressive celebrities in the crowd at the late night shows.

We are in the process of making a Public Television documentary about the life of Sophie Tucker. In our research we have discovered that in 1958 The Barry Ashton Dancers were one of Sophie's opening acts.

If Barry or any of those dancers are still alive, can you help us get in touch with them if
that were in the group at that time? We want to interview them for our movie. Any contact information would be much appreciated.
