Featured dancer Kari Grant displays her fine legs on the stage at the Palomino Club Burlesque Club in 1971. Performers in those days were quite different from what we call "strippers" today. The dancers spent much time and money putting together shows that ran about 20 minutes. Their costumes and themes could be quite elaborate with some using giant props as well. They got their exercise, too, since the Palomino was advertised as having the "longest stage" at one time. If you were sitting in the seats right against the stage, you were sitting at the "smorgasbord".
