Brandy Alexander 1

Totally Nude
Beautiful Brandy Alexander was one of the daytime favorites at the Palomino Club. The Palomino Club has always been the only club it town that had a full bar and allowed the dancers to be totally nude. "Grandfathered" in, the rules allowing the Palomino to be totally nude will expire in 2019. How that club was allowed that "perk" no one truly knows, but the club owner Paul Perry was always a great contributor to the city and its politicians and he took great pains to keep the club clean and law abiding. No prostitution, no drugs, and bouncers to make sure that unsavory characters stayed away.

"Palomino memories" by: Backseater

Mr. Hooper, I remember Ms. Alexander well--and also most of the other Palomino dancers commemorated on your site. I visited the Palomino three or four times per year for nearly 30 years [November 1972 to July 2002]. I was one of those who would fly out, go to the Pal, and then return home, sometimes the very next day without putting a chip on a table.
Over the years I watched the Palomino slowly decline from the best club in the world to the worst. The last five years were particularly hard.
Thank you for posting these pictures to memorialize the Palomino. I would much rather remember it the way it was, than go there and see what it has become.
By the way, a couple of weeks ago sentences were handed down in the second Palomino murder case [Timothy Hadland, 2005, R.I.P.] It only took four years....
Best wishes.
